Examination & Evaluation System

Our school follows a fair, transparent, and continuous evaluation system designed to encourage conceptual understanding, creativity, and practical learning. Students are provided with a healthy and positive academic environment where rote learning is discouraged and experimental and activity-based learning is promoted. The evaluation system is carefully structured to measure students’ academic progress, critical thinking, and overall performance throughout the academic year.

Teachers regularly assess students through tests, assignments, class participation, projects, and practical work.

The academic session includes Unit Tests, Terminal Examinations, and Annual Examination.

πŸ“ Unit Tests

  • Two Unit Tests are conducted during the academic year.

  • These tests help evaluate students’ understanding of recently taught topics.

Weightage:

  • Unit Test I – 5%

  • Unit Test II – 5%

Total Contribution: 10%


πŸ“š Terminal Examinations

Two Terminal Examinations are conducted to assess mid-term academic progress.

  • 1st Terminal Examination – September

  • 2nd Terminal Examination – December

Weightage:

  • 1st Terminal – 10%

  • 2nd Terminal – 10%

Total Contribution: 20%

The Annual Examination is conducted in the month of March and evaluates the complete syllabus of the academic year.

Weightage:
70% of the Final Result
